LOOMAL
Loomal Pay

Get paid for your tool.Powered by x402.

Loomal Pay turns any HTTP handler into a paid endpoint. Customers and AI agents pay per call in USDC. Every payment is signed and provable on chain. The same flow works in every major framework you already use.

Sellers add five lines of middleware to a route they want to charge for. Buyers (people or AI agents) pay automatically. Loomal handles the wallet, the signing, the settlement, and the receipt. You ship the next feature.

How it works

Four steps. Most fire in under a second.

01

Visitor calls your paid endpoint

A regular request lands on your server with no payment attached. Your handler decides this route needs to be paid for.

02

Loomal builds a payment challenge

One call to Loomal returns the payment requirement. Your server replies with that requirement to the visitor.

03

Buyer pays and retries

The buyer's wallet (theirs, an AI client's, or a Loomal-managed one) signs the requirement and resends the request with the signed payload.

04

Loomal settles and signs a receipt

One more call to Loomal verifies the signature, moves the money on chain, and returns a signed receipt. Your handler returns the response.

What you get

Built for developers who already shipped.

30-second integration

Five lines on top of any Express, Hono, FastAPI, or MCP handler. Working examples in every major framework, MIT-licensed.

Real signed receipts

Every payment returns a signed receipt and a chain link. Hand it to your accountant or a regulator. It holds up.

Cash out anytime

Withdraw earned USDC to any wallet through one REST call. Cash-out batching keeps fees minimal at scale.

Buyer-side too

Your AI agents pay other tools through the same project. Loomal handles the wallet, the signing, the retry on 402.

Webhooks on every settle

Configure a webhook on each registered endpoint. HMAC-signed deliveries with idempotency keys; up to five retries with exponential backoff before we surface the failure on your activity timeline.

Activity timeline

Every payment, refund, cash-out, and webhook is logged. Filter by project, by route, by time. The trail compliance teams ask for.

What people build

Real-world loomal pay flows shipping today.

$0.01 / call

Paid MCP server

Charge AI agents per tool invocation. Drop the middleware on any tool registration. Agents pay before the call returns.

$0.05 / doc

Paid extraction API

PDF parsing, table extraction, image OCR. Agent posts a document, your handler returns structured JSON, payment settles per call.

$0.001 / query

Paid search API

Index search, web search, vector search. Per-query pricing makes high-volume agent traffic actually viable.

Per-token

Paid AI inference

Charge for LLM tokens, image generations, audio transcription. Variable amount per call lets you pass through model costs plus margin.

Variable

Live data feeds

Financial quotes, on-chain analytics, weather. Per-fetch pricing turns expensive upstream feeds into a sustainable resale.

30 seconds

Per-call API metering

Replace seat-based pricing with per-call. Five lines on top of any existing API and revenue follows usage, not subscription.

FAQ

Things builders ask.

What protocol does Loomal Pay use?
x402, an open HTTP-native payments protocol. Sellers reply 402 with a payment requirement. Buyers sign and retry. Loomal handles both sides so you don't have to know the protocol details.
Do I need a crypto wallet to start?
No. When you sign up, Loomal provisions a smart wallet on Base for your project. It's not a custodial private key — Loomal acts as a relayer on your behalf. You receive USDC into it on the first paid call and can withdraw to any address.
What happens if a payment fails?
Failed verification or settlement returns a fresh requirement. Your handler replies 402 again. The buyer re-signs and retries. Failed transactions never charge anyone.
Can my AI agent pay other tools?
Yes. The same Loomal project gives you a buyer-side endpoint. Your agent calls a paid URL, gets a 402, posts the requirement to Loomal, and Loomal signs with your project wallet. No private key custody on your side.
What is the fee?
Free during launch. After that, Loomal collects 0.5% on settled mainnet payments. No card, no monthly fee, no per-seat pricing. KYC-free up to $100 lifetime.
What network do you settle on?
Base mainnet only, USDC only, today. Base was chosen for low fees, fast settlement, and broad wallet support. Multi-chain support is on the roadmap.
Do you support refunds?
There are no chargebacks because settlements are on-chain and final. Refunds are a separate REST call: you sign the refund, Loomal sends USDC from your wallet back to the buyer, and the activity log records the reversal.
How do I cash out?
Call the cash-out endpoint with a destination address and an amount. The transfer settles in seconds and lands in your wallet. Cash-out is also exposed in the console.
